Mrs. (Nancy) Ann RINEHART, who was born in Clinton County Aug 20, 1842 passed away on Wednesday at her home on East Washington Street (Lebanon) following a few days illness. Mrs. Rinehart was united in marriage to Samuel Rinehart, a Civil War Veteran Dec 25, 1864. Mr. Rinehart preceded her in death several years ago. To this union were born six children, Wilder D. Rinehart of Waveland; Jesse W. Rinehart of Rochester; Frank V. Rinehart at home; Harry h. Rinehart of Indianapolis; and Mrs. Deilia M. Beesey of Thorntown. A son, Orda Chase Rinehart, died in infancy. There also are 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Curtis Durham of Clark Hills. Mrs. Rinehart was a kind and affectionate mother with many Christian virtues. She was the oldest member of Centenary Methodist Church in Lebanon. She remembers being in Indianapolis when Lincoln passed through on his way to Washington for his first inaugural. The funeral was held at the Methodist Church on Friday afternoon with Rev Homer P. Ivey preaching the sermon.
