Camp Point, Aug. 22.—Mrs. Sarah Ann, wife, of Henry Davis, living 3 miles west of this place died early this morning from a complication of diseases. She was the highly esteemed mother of a large family. There were five girls and three boys as the result of her union to Henry Davis, which occurred May 24, 1871. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Schuhardt.
Mrs. Davis was born in Pennsylvania Aug.13, 1851, and came to Illinois when but a small child. There are four sisters and three brothers in her family. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church, Rev. W. T. Reynolds officiating. Interment at Camp Point cemetery.
