Mrs. Anna Raymond.

Mrs. Anna Raymond, lifelong resident of Adams county, died in her home, 1025 Hampshire, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. She had been in falling health for two years, suffering from hardening of the arteries.

Mrs. Raymond was born in Mendon June 8, 1857, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lees. She was married to J. W. Myers in 1880. Following Mr. Myers' death, she was married to J. L. Raymond in 1915. Mr. Raymond died in 1832.

Mrs. Raymond Is survived by two children: Mrs. E. L. Maxwell of Bushnell and J. L. Myers of 1500 Kentucky, Quincy. There Is one granddaughter, Evelyn Ann Myers. She leaves also two half-brothers, Hiram Thompson of Pittsburg, Kas., and James Thompson of Quincy. There are a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Raymond had been a member of the Christian church since she was fifteen years old.

(Anna's father was John, not Thomas, Lees. Records indicate that she was born in Bloomfield, not Mendon, IL.)

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Raymond were conducted by the Rev. L. C. Mauck in the Duker chapel Monday afternoon at 2:30. Mrs. Cora Garner sang. Burial was in Woodland cemetery. Pallbearers were C. F. Tacke, August Weltin , Joseph Bowen, Lawrence Thornhill, F. M. Richardson, and H. F Martin
Those from out of town who were here for the funeral of Mrs. Anna Raymond Monday afternoon included Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Maxwell and Mr. and Mrs. John Cuddy and family, Payson; Mrs. Nanny Welsh and family- Camp Point; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lee- Columbus; and Mr. and Mrs. John Ross- Paloma.
