Daisy, 99, died Thursday, June 23 at Fleur Heights Nursing and Rehab, while under the care of Iowa Hospice.

Daisy was born October 23, 1911 in Unionville, Missouri. She worked at La Pizza House for over 40 years. Daisy was a hard worker, and loved giving to help out others. She enjoyed life and her family. Daisy was looking forward to her 100th birthday party.

Daisy is remembered by her children: Helen L. Gordon of Des Moines, Michael E. (Mary Ann) Clemons of Clear Lake, and Patrick H. (Carol) Clemons of Boone; eight grandchildren: Melody Stewart, Tracy Huffman, Stacie Gustafson, Troy, Mike, Joe, TJ and Matt Clemons; 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Private family services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice.

Other than her sister, Flossie May Yount, she had another sister, Mrs. Dona Breeze and a brother, Earnest Ranes that survived Flossie.
