daughter of Charles Kelley and Melvina Niday
Catherine Kelley Ranes was born on January 21, 1875 and departed this life September 15, 1929 at the age of 54 years, 7 months and 24 days.
She was united in marriage to Wilson Ranes on December 16, 18**. To this union were born six children, five girls and one boy, who are all living.
She united with the Christian church about twelve years ago and lived a Christian life until death. She leaves her husband, six children, mother and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church on Tuesday
September 17, conducted by Elder E. J. Mikinley, assisted by Dr. L. B. Coggins. The body was laid to rest in the Unionville Cemetery.
