Uxbridge – Robert M. Racicot, 80, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Hewett) Racicot.
Mr. Racicot was employed for 30 years with Bay State Welding in Grafton.
Mr. Racicot was born August 30, 1927 in Uxbridge, the son of the late Francis E. and Rebecca M. (Gusney) Racicot.
Mr. Racicot served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Racicot enjoyed computers. gardening and being outdoors.
Mr. Racicot is survived by two sons; Robert M. Racicot II of Dudley and Kevin Racicot of Uxbridge, three daughters; Robin Racicot of Blackstone, Jeryl Broman of Sturbridge and Kathleen Urato of Blackstone, one brother Henry E. Racicot of Uxbridge, three sisters; Victoria A. Penland of Uxbridge, Susanna M. Setsi of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. , Isabella M. Loudermilk of Paisley, FL., 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Alan F. Angel and two brothers; Francis E. Racicot Jr. and James J. Racicot.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 at 1 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St., (Rte. 122), Uxbridge, MA 01569.
Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Providence Rd., Uxbridge.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
