Mrs Josephine J Ward beloved wife of Guy N ward of 332 Henry Street , passed away at Proctor hospital, Saturday evening, December 15th at 9:45 o'clock.
Mrs Ward was ill for about 10 days and her passing will be a great shock to her family and many friends. She was a lover of home life and a loving wife and mother.
She was born in Peoria on January 25th 1884, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Louis Messersmith, Pioner residents of this city. She was united in marriage to Guy N. Ward on January 25th 1905.of this city; two brothers, Louis Messersmith
of this city and Henry Messersmith of Chicago, Il. also two sisters, Mrs Hudson B Sours and Mrs W. C. Meyer both of Peoria.
Mrs. Ward was a charter member of the Baker Camp Royal Neighbors of America.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ward will be held from chapel of the South side funeral home Tuesday afternoon, december 18th. at 2 PM Internment will be made in Parkview cemetery. Rev E Flach will officiate at the service.
Mrs Ward is servived by her husband three sons, Louis, George and Ben, all of this city: two brothers; Louis Messersmith of this city and Henry Messersmith of Chicago, Ill; also two sisters Mrs. Hudson B. Sours and Mrs W. C. Meyer both of Peoria..
Mrs Ward was charter member of the Baker Camp, Royal Neighbors of America. Funeral services for Mrs. Ward will be held from the chapel of the south Side Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, December 18th at 2 o'clock.
Internment will be made in Parkview cemetery. Rev. E. Fletcher will officiate at the service.
