Mrs John Coffey, one of the pioneer ladies of Columbia and a most estimable woman, died in that town this Friday morning at 6 o'clock. She is survived by her husband and three daughters - Mrs Sherman Wetmore of Columbia, Mrs Andrew Ortega of Black Diamond and Mrs Frank Edwards of Stockton. The funeral will be held Sunday morning from the family residence. After Mass in St Ann's Church, the cortege will proceed to Sonora, internment will be in Mountain View cemetery.
