"(From Monday's Daily) John Oegerle, Jr., one of the prominent young farmers near Alida, passed away Sunday after a short illness with pneumonia. Mr. Oegerle is survived by a wife and family, who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends. Mr. Oegerle was a member of the Junction City Elks' lodge and also of the Woodmen lodge of Milford. The news of his death was received with sadness. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday. A short service will be held at the home near Alida at 10 o'clock. An auto hearse will be used and the funeral party will drive to the German church near Upland where services will be held at 11 o'clock. The funeral party will then come to this city where burial will take place at Highland Cemetery."
