Mrs. Mary Bedell, 70, 516 S. Liberty St., widow of Raymond Bedell, died Wednesday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Randolph County and came to Muncie about 50 years ago.

Mrs. Bedell was employed at Haney's Drug Store prior to her retirement and earlier had been employed at Hook's and Meyer's.

Services will be held in Meeks Mortuary at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Harry D. Slattery officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and any time before the services Saturday.
