Charles F. Davisson, 63, 502 Wayne St., was dead on arrival at Ball Hospital Tuesday. He had been in failing health. A native of Randolph County, he had lived in Muncie for 39 years and was a retired Warner Gear employe.

Surviving are his wife, Mayme; a son and a daughter;

Mr. Davisson was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, F&AM Lodge 433, Chapter 30, RAM, Commandry 18, Knights Templar, Order of Eastern Star 95 at Farmland and the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and before services there at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Rev. William Gillum will officiate. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Muncie Lodge 433, F&AM, will hold memorials services at 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
