Wayne Ralph Davisson, 65, formerly of 409 S. Pershing, died Saturday morning at Veterans Hospital in Marion following an extended illness. He was born in Randolph County, spent his early years in that area and came to Muncie about 40 years ago. He served overseas with the Army during World War II.
Mr. Davisson was employed with Penn Central Railroad more than 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was formerly active in Boy Scouts at St. Lawrence Church.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Guisinger) Davisson, Yorktown; two daughters;

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father William Grady at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the American Legion section of Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today or prior to services Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today at Meeks Mortuary.
