Fred A. Gehre of 320 W. 3rd Street, San Dimas, passed away at the family home at 7:15 o'clock Sunday morning following a long period of failing health.
Mr. Gehre was born October 25, 1884 in Chicago. He came to California in 1940 from York, Neb., and has resided in San Dimas for 12 years.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Audrey O. Gehre, he is survived by three sons, Leonard F. Gehre of Gibbon, Neb., Harold A. Gehre of La Verne, and Lloyd J. Gehre of Alhambra; two daughters, Mrs. Verona Churchill of Pomona and Mrs. Dorothy Enderich of South Gate; and a sister, Mrs. Ann Tracy of Gary, Ind. There also are 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Todd Memorial North Chapel at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Rev. Francis C. Ellis, a pastor of San Dimas Community Church will officiate. Interment will be made in Pomona Cemetery.
