Obit, Huntington Herald-Press, Mon. Mar. 24, 1958; Frank E. Caley, 75, Markle, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at the Huntington County Hospital where he had been a patient one week. Mr. Caley was born February 14, 1883, in Wells County, to Lewis E. and Alice Platt Caley. He married Mamie Gamble August 3, 1905, in Huntington. She died December 13, 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Ruth) Runyon of Markle; a son, Bruce E. Caley, Homestead Air Force Base, Miami, Fla.; a foster-son, Harold Caley of Huntington; six grandchildren; four brothers, Harley of Huntington, Vern of Churubusco, Elbridge of Fort Wayne, and Milo of Three Rivers, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Ina Bingham of Pontiac, Mich. Mr. Caley had been a resident of Markle for the last nine years and previously was a farmer southwest of Markle. The body is at the Funderburg Funeral Home in Markle where friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the Markle Church of Christ at noon Wednesday to lie until the funeral at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William Clague officiating. Burial will be in Markle Cemetery.
