Funeral services for Loyce "Dock" Henson were held February 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the Milligan Springs Baptist church. Officiating were Frank Mixon and Dan Beardain. Burial was in the church cemetery, Winona Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Henson, who was 64 years old, died February 2 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital, after an illness of several weeks. He was a native of this county and a member of the Milligan Springs church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Ray Henson, Kilmichael: two children, L. D. Henson, Jr., Greenwood, and Mrs. C. D. Murphy, Canton; a brother, Chalmas Henson, Kilmichael; a sister, Mrs. A. B. Watts, Mathiston; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J. B. Howell, Lamar Wray, Clayton Cummings, Walter Alford, E. C. Carpenter and B. E. Embry.
