Heinrich and Elisabeth are blessed with seven children: David, Jacob, Lydia, Theophil (Tefel), Louisa, Emma and Elizabeth. His wife passed away when their youngest child was only one year old.

Heinrich donated the land for the establishment of the Danzig Baptist Church which was built in 1894. It was named after their settlement in Russia.

He never remarried and lived at Avon SD for the remainder of his years until his passing in 1937. He is buried at Danzig Baptist Cemetery.
