Samuel C. Doggett, 56, of 2302 N. Elm St., died at 9:10 a.m. Friday at Ball Hospital after a one-month illness. He was born at Cammack, and had been a resident of Muncie and Delaware County all his life.
Mr. Doggett is survived by the widow, Louise; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Frazier, Muncie, and Mrs. Elea Nora Kennedy, Muncie; two sons, Marvin of Muncie, and Richard serving with the U.S. Air Force at Parke AF Base, Calif.; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Keyes, Winchester, and a brother, Vol W. Gilbert, Muncie.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary, and burial will be in Hawk Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
