Lawrence L. Goodman

Lawrence LeRoy Goodman ,80, resident of the Hannum Memorial Rest Home for the past 21 months, died at the home Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Goodman was born Aug. 29, 1889 at Venus, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Goodman.
He was a carpenter and a construction foreman for the South Penn Oil Company for a number of years. He lived in Kane from l926 to 1930, when he moved to Rew, then to Bradford some years ago.
Mr. Goodman married the former Pearle Confer on Jan. 2, 1912. His wife preceeded him in death on Oct. 16,1962.
Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. William Ross, and Mrs. Leo Flanders of Bradford, PA., Mrs. Charles Holden of Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Bernard Finnerty of Lansing Mich, Mrs. Don Swiger of Geneva Ohio; and Mrs. William Salada of Custer City; two sons, Burdell Goodman of Chula Vista, Calif., and Larry Goodman of Paw Paw, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Johnson of Oil City, and Mrs. Elma Cochran of Rouseville.
Another daughter, Mrs. William Skinner, died Jan. 7, 1950.
Friends are being received at the Koch-Chaucy Memorial Chapel were the service will be held at 1:30 p.m, Tuesday with the Rev. Robert Rowe of the Bolivar Dr. Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
