MRS. Z JOHNSTON, SISTER OF LOCAL RESIDENT, IS DEAD

Mrs. Zelda (Goodman) Johnston, 53, wife of John Johnston, Spartansburg, Pa., died unexpectedly at 9:43 pm Thursday at her home. She had been suffering from a heart ailment for the past two years.
She was born and reared in Venus, Pa. She is survived by her husband, John A. Johnston, and two sons, John R., Silver Creek, NY and Clyde C., Beaver Dam.
She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. M. D. Goodman, Venus, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Bertha Hufnagel, Erie: Mrs. Elma Cochran, Rouseville, Pa; Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, Oil City; Lawrence L. Goodman, Bradford: Warren L. Goodman, Venus; Oliver J. Goodman, Oil City and Donald P. Goodman, Titusville.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 pm. Burial was made in Beaver Dam Memorial Park.
Out of town relatives and friends who attended included Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Goodman and Mrs. Don Swiger, Bradford, and Mrs. William Ross, Custer City.
