Walter W. (Tech) Riggle, 74, of 125 East Pike St., Houston, died Friday, October 4, 1968 at 5:05 p.m. in Washington County Hospital following an illness of two months.
Mr. Riggle was born February 21, 1894 in Houston, a son of Henry E. and Mary E. Weaver Riggle.
He was employed at the Canonsburg shell plant during World War II and later as a clerk for the Jefferson Coal and Construction Company.
Mr. Riggle was a veteran of World War I, a member and former elder of the First UP Church, Houston, and a past master of Richard Vaux Lodge No. 454, F and M, Burgettstown.
He was married twice. His first wife was Thelma Figley, who died in 1953. His second wife was Lorraine McVicker, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, : John H. Riggle, of Houston, and Bertrand B., of Brockway; a : daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Koski, of Pennsauken, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Cooley, Clinton, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held to day at 3:30 p.m. from the William E. Speakman Funeral Home, Houston, in charge of Rev. Harry W. Rankin, assisted by Rev. Robert Peters. Burial in Oak Spring Cemetery.
