Daughter of the late John and Estella Smith Stephens; widow of David Lee Acton, who died in 1963.

Survived by three brothers, Donald Stephens of Simpsonville, Bonham Stephens of Liberty, and Dempsey Stephens of Greenville; a sister, Jincey Suttles, of Central; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Friday October 17, 2003, Liberty Mortuary Chapel.

Burial: West View Cemetery.
