He was born in Altoona October 20, 1889, a son of Clement L. and Margaret F. (Hershey) Nonemaker, and was twice married, first on January 24, 1912 to Cora Lantz, who died July 27, 1960, then to Martha Nicholson on June 9, 1965, in the Grace Brethren Church in Everett.
Surviving are his wife, two children Aubrey Jr. of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Helen Seese of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; eight grandchildren, including, Duane Galbraith of Jacksonville, Fla., who was reared in the home, two great-grandchildren, two stepchildren, Mrs. Hyla Twigg of Fullerton, Calif., and John Seese of Cape Canaveral, and a brother and four sisters, Mrs. Bessie M. Smith of East Aurora, N.Y., G. Linton of Reading and Mrs. Edna G. Hallman, Mrs. Lula M. Winters and Mrs. M. Pauline Miller of Altoona.
Mr. Nonemaker was member of the first Lutheran Church, Altoona, and the Loysburg Lions Club.
He was a graduate of Anderson Business College and was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad for 51 years, retiring from the office of the supervisor of expenditures at Altoona.
Friends will be received in the Connor Funeral Home, Everett, from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at Alto Reste Burial Park Monday morning.
