MRS. ETHEL F. HAMLER of 2621 6th Ave., died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Altoona Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Altoona January 22, 1907, a daughter of C. L. and Margaret F. (Hershey) Nonemaker, and was united in marriage with Orville M. Hamler.

Mrs. Hamler was a member of the Simpson Methodist Church, Loyalty Class and the W.S.C. S. and for a number of years served as pianist for the Men's Chorus of the church.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert E. Foster of Mill Valley, Calif., and Miss Elaine, at home; two sons, Orville L. and Harold E., at home; her mother, four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Smith, Mrs. Edna Haulman, Mrs. Lulu Winters and Mrs. Pauline Miller of Altoona; two brothers, Aubrey L. Nonemaker of Altoona and G. Linton of Reading, and three grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Axe Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
