George Henry Boody, 74, born August 18, 1928, in Otterville, Iowa to Frederick & Dessie Boody. He was the youngest child, and is preceded in death by both parents and siblings.
Hank, as he was known to family & friends, served in the United States Air Force. He was attached to both the 43rd and the 303rd Bomber wing Maintenance Squadrons. He worked on the flight line as an aircraft engine mechanic and served as crew chief on several overseas TDY's. Hank joined Masonic Lodge #105 of Waterloo, Iowa, in 1964 and maintained membership until his passing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, history, growing roses, nature and Arizona sunsets. He loved road trips with no particular destination, telephone calls,visits for no reason...and family.
Dad passed away January 6, 2003. He gave strong hugs, soft kisses and mischievous smiles. He is missed.
His loss is mourned by his wife, Nylene; a daughter, (blank), his son in law (blank), three grandson's, great grandchildren and many friendships..some of which spanned over 50 years.
A private memorial service was held January 11, 2003, and graveside services with military honors was held on January 15, 2003, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery.
