A passionate family historian, he didn't live long enough to see the progress & many generational discoveries made in the family tree. Many vacations that could have been spent in exotic locales were instead spent collecting dust down long forgotten dirt roads & trudging through cemeteries with Elaine, his patient wife & helpmate. He helped provide clues to those discoveries, directions to the pioneers and photo's. I will always be grateful for his generous nature.
