Mrs. Mary A. Avery died last night at New London, Conn. aged 80 years. She lived at the Globe hotel when in this city, her home. She leaves no children but there are a number of nieces and nephews, among them George Avery, with O.V. Tracy & Company and Capt. Dean Avery of Engine Company No. 5. Mrs. Avery was the widow of B. Austin Avery, who was at the time of his death president of the Onondaga County Milk association. She was a prominent member of the First Universalist Church.
