Anna Margaret Sheaffer, daughter of David and Anna Sheaffer, was born November 6, 1875 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and passed away June 20, 1960 at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 14 days.

As a small child she came to Kansas with her parents and settled on a farm near Bigelow, Kansas where she grew to womanhood. As a young girl she became a christian and joined the Methodist Church in Bigelow where she remained a member until her death. The last few years she attended the Free Methodist Church in Frankfort. She was a quiet person and her life centered around her children and the Bible every day as long as her health permitted. In 1957 she suffered a slight stroke and was taken to the Green Lawn rest home where she remained until her death.

On January 11, 1896 she was united in marriage to James Ward Strader who passed away May 18, 1934.
To this union was born nine children, two of whom preceded her in death, Aaron at the age of 21 and Richard age 14.
Left to mourn her passing are William F. Strader and (Ruth) Mrs. Vern Bensten) Frankfort, Kansas, Harold R. Strader, Irving Kansas, (Mildred) Mrs. Melvin Carlson, Seneca, Kansas, Glenn M. Strader, Yakima, Washington, Alfred N. Strader, Sabetha, Kansas, (Aletha) Mrs. Charles Slifer, Bigelow Kansas; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grand-
children along with a host of friends.

Funeral services where Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Stanley Black officiating.

Internment was in the Antioch Cemetery, southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
