Horrible Death of Mr. W. T. Hamilton, at Howard, Ga.
He Formerly Lived HereMr. Hamilton Slipped and Fell on a Saw and His Leg was Cut Off. He Bled to Death Before Assistance Could Be Had.News reached the city yesterday that Mr. W. T. Hamilton of Howard, Ga., was accidentally killed at his saw mill near Howard Wednesday morning. He slipped and fell on the saw, and his leg was cut off between the ankle and knee, and he bled to death before any assistance could be rendered.Mr. Hamilton was quite well known in this city, especially in railroad circles. For twelve or fifteen years, he was a section foreman for the Central Railway, and after that he became the owner of a saw mill near Howard. He had a great number of personal friends in this city and in this immediate section. He was a prominent Mason.Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife and three or four children.
