Sarah was the 3rd child of Andrew & Susanna Weast Danner. She was the wife of Edward Paul Dorsey. She was however the 6th child for Andrew. Andrew had 3 children through his previous marriage to Ruanna Weast. Ruanna died in 1832.

Mrs. Sarah I. (Danner) Dorsey,
aged 95 died at the Garlock Nurs-
ing Home Tuesday at 10:15 p. m.
after a one-year illness.
She was a daughter of the late
Susan and Andrew Danner of
Downsville District. For almost
50 years she had been a member
of the Church of the Brethren,
Downsville.
Surviving children are: Mrs.
Minnie Thomas of Halfway, Harry
C. of Hagerstown, William G. of
Sharpsburg, Elisha C Dorsey of
Hagerstown Route 3, Arthur W. of
Hagerstown, Mrs. Elizabeth S.
Palmer of Hagerstown, Paul J. of
Sharpsburg, Frederick L. of Ha-
gerstown, and Russell J of Half-
way. Also surviving are:35 grand-
children, 37 great-grandchildren,
6 great-great-grandchildren, and
3 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will meet at the Leaf
Funeral Home, Halfway, on Fri-
day at 1 p. m. and will go from
there to the Manor Church of the
Brethren near Tilghmanton where
services will be held at 2 p. m.
The Rev. Rowland Reichard will
officiate with burial in the
church cemetery.
