W. S. MILLER DIES IN HOPE

William Simeon Miller, 78 years old, died of heart disease at 6 o'clock last evening at his home in Hope. He had been ailing for several weeks but became worse yesterday morning. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Miller, and nine children, Mrs. Ora Wilke, of Omaha; Mrs. Alice Shank, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Anna Stepp, of Columbus; Mrs. Maude Norris, Mrs. Dot Christian, John, Arthur and Roy Miller, all of Hope, and Mrs. Emma Trotter. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Jenny Norman, and a brother, L. O. Miller, both of Hope. There are several grandchildren.

Mr. Miller was born in North Carolina and was the son of Mary and Charles Miller. He was a retired farmer, and a well-known man here, as he has been a resident of Hope for 30 years. He has scores of friends throughout the country, by all of whom he was most highly esteemed.
