Frances attended Holy Names Academy in Spokane, Washington and graduated from there in 1938; she was the senior class treasurer.
Toots entered the ministry and became a nun receiving the name Mary Clarilda. She had a great interest in psychology, teaching at Clackamas Community College. She also loved children and early in her career worked with the children at the Christy School.
Aunt Toots was always good for a laugh, I remember visiting her one year during the summer and she had decorated her apartment with pictures for all of the holidays that we didn't get to celebrate with her.
