Funeral services were held Monday, August 23, at 9:30 a.m. for Mrs. Charles E. (Irene) Kalassinsky, 47, 1012 Adams Street, Rock Springs, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

The Rev. Philip Colibraro conducted the services. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Rosary was recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Rogan Chapel.

Pallbearers were Don Rhuaak, Lou Dansart, Tom Overy, Ralph Craft, Joe Hopkins and Gary Allen.

Mrs. Kalassinsky died Friday, Aug. 24, at Sweetwater County Memorial Hopsitla, where she had been a patient for a week. She had lived in Rock Springs at various times in 22 years. She had also lived in Rawlins and Riverton. A resident of Rock Springs since 1944, she was born Mar. 13, 1916, in Nelson, Neb. The former Irene Jacobitz and Charles E. Kalassinsky were married in November 1948 in Riverton.

Mrs. Kalassinsky was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Survivors are her husband, two daughters, Sheila Rae and Louise Kalassinsky, at home; four brothers, Melvin Jacobitz, Columbus, Neb.; Lyle, Hebron, Neb.; Edward of Superior, Neb., and Ivan Jacobitz, Nelson, Neb.; five sisters, Mrs. Wendel (Inez) Beal, Anaheim, Calif.; Mrs. Nellie M. Ferrell, Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. Edna Wade, Hawthorne, Calif.; Mrs. Hamp (Esther) Kimminau, Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Ray (Evelyn) Conger, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
