Born October 16, 1911 in Ogden, Utah to Peter and Mary Jane Langlois Anderson. Attended Ogden High School and Weber College. Married Helen Bemenderfer, August 20, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lived in the Washington, D.C. area for nine years. Civilian employee for the U. S. Government during World War II. Personnel director for ZCMI, wholesale. Wholesale procurement manager for Hill Field Air Force Base.

Survivors: wife, Helen; son, Richard W. (Pam) Anderson, Salt Lake; daughter Bonnie (Thomas) Holt, St. Paul, MN; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, of Salt Lake and Lowell, of Calif. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Friday, April 4, 1997 in the Winder 11th Ward, 950 East 3825 South. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward on Friday from 2:15-3:15 p.m. prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
