Thomas F. Hartley, 67, died at 7:20 o-clock last night at his home on Moore road, following a short illness. Mr. Hartley was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Methodist Church, the Delaware Lodge of Masons No. 46 and the B.P.O.E. No. 245. His position at the time of his death was that of a retired farmer, but previous to that he had been in the employ of the Central Indiana Gas Company as foreman of pipeline construction work. Surviving are his widow, Minnie; one daughter, Mrs. Otis A. Crowe, of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Carl E. of Muncie, and Benjamin W., at home; two grandchildren, Harold and Alice Crowe. The body has been removed to the Piepho funeral home where friends may call after 7 o-clock this evening.
