Benjamin W. Hartley, 43, of Harrison Township, died in a Richmond hospital yesterday morning following a long illness. He was the son of the late Thomas F. and Minnie Hartley, former well-known Harrison Township residents. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Otis H. Crowe of Atlanta, Ga., and a brother, Carl E. of Muncie. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Mt. Olive Methodist Church and burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Piepho funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock Tuesday night.
