HUNTSVILLE: Mrs. Josephine Nelson (Nielsen) Burrows, 78, of Huntsville, widow of George A. Burrows, died last night in St. Benedict's Hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Burrows had been a Relief Society visiting teacher in the LDS Huntsville Ward for 45 years.
She was born Aug. 9, 1876, in Huntsville, a daughter of Jens and Julianna Peterson Nelson (Nielsen).
Her husband died in 1931.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: J. Alma Burrows, Salt Lake City; Henry Burrows, Huntsville; Elward Burrows, Idaho Falls; Newell Burrows, Sparks, Nev.; Mark Burrows, Honeyville; Parley Burrows, Mrs. Roscoe (Ina) Bowman and mrs. L. V. (Maurine) Ford, Ogden; bud Burrows, San Leandro, Calif.; Lloyd Burrows, American Fork; Mrs. George (Valera) Croon, San Lorenzo, Calif.; 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters; David J. Nelson, New York City; Henry Nelson, Arimo, Idaho; Mrs. Burletta Cunningham and Mrs. Millie Garff, Ogden; Mrs. Glenna Slaughter, Clearfield.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. in the Larkin mortuary, 24th Street and Adams Avenue, Bishop Leland Montgomery of the LDS Huntsville Ward officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday until services. Interment will be in Huntsville cemetery.
