Mrs. Ida May Brammer Evans, 76 years old, former resident of Mumdell community east of Rogers, Arkansas, died Monday at the home of her daughter. Mrs. John Rice, in Joplin, Missouri. She became critically ill Sunday morning.
Ida May was the daughter of Joseph Wheeler Brammer and Rachel Brown Brammer and was born in Linn County, Iowa. She married Francis Marion Evans February 10, 1895 in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas. This union produced two daughters, Minnie Ethel Evans Rice and Almeda Evans Goodart.
Funeral service was held Wednesday at the Rambo Cemetery northeast of Rogers, Arkansas. Rev. Horace Knox of Rocky Branch, Arkansas officiated at the graveside.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rice and Mrs. Hallie Goodart both of Joplin, Missouri; three brothers, Frank and Ollie Brammer of Rogers, and Dot Brammer of Mumdell, and five grandchildren.
