Bill Flournoy died Thursday, September 5, 1996, in Red Bluff. He was 75.
Mr. Flurnoy was born September 20, 1920, in Flournoy. He lived his entire life in Flornoy where he was a rancher.
He was a member of the Red Bluff Elks Lodge 1250, Tehama County and California Cattleman's Association, Tehama County Fair Board and Flood Control District.
Mr. Flournoy served as a Tehama County Supervior for 24 years. He enjoyed sports and supported Corning Union High School sports.
Surviving are: daughter Pam Hubbard of Corning; sons, Blake Flournoy of Corning and Brad Flournoy of Richfield; brothers, George Flournoy of Flournoy and Mike Flournoy of Corning and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vern Flournoy.
Visiting hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. A service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Hall Brothers Mortuary in Corning. Burial will follow in the family plot in the Paskenta Cemetery.
The family has requested any donations be made to the Corning Union High School Boosters Club or the Tehama County Health Center in Red Bluff.
