Chaffee - Mrs. Effie E. Baker, 61 years old, a former resident of Chaffee, died Monday at a hospital in Wilmington, O.
She was born July 15, 1894, at Tunnel Hill, Ill. Her husband Jake Baker died here in 1948.
She is survived by four sons, Earl, Carl, Paul and Ralph Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Hendricks and Mrs. Mary Horn; a brother, Bert Grace; and 16 grandchildren.
The body will be brought to the Stubbs Funeral Home here Wednesday. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
