MIDDLETON, TN - LeeRoy Bass, 81, retired from Armira Corp., died of heart failure Sunday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in Reaves Cemetery . He was a member of Porters Creek Baptist Church and was an Air Force veteran. Mr. Bass, the husband of Bernice L. Bass, also leaves a daughter, Norma Sue Russell of Middleton; a son, Ronnie Lee Bass of Rossville; seven sisters, Dessie Vickers, Faye Voles and Francis Howell, all of Middleton; Virginia Johnson of Hubbard, Texas, Betty Phillips and Mae Weathersbee, both of Bolivar, and Linda Kay Stewart of Toone; three brothers, Olion Bass of Middleton and William Earl Bass and Travis Bass, both of Bolivar, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
