E. Binkley Dies,
Funeral To Be Held On Friday

Emanuel Binkley, Sr., 53, farmer of Hickory Point community, died in Clarksville Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday of a heart attack. His death was unexpected.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Sango Methodist Church. The Rev. G. W. Baxter will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Comperry, Jesse Brown, Jiggs Price, Douglas Price, Paul Davenport and Tommy Conner. Members of Archie Wood-Frank Adkins Post, American Legion, will serve as honorary pallbearers. Harvey W. Hunt will have charge.

Mr. Binkley was born in Cheatham County, May 12, 1900 son of the late Joe and Melvinia Binkley. On Jan. 3, 1919 he was married to Miss Ella Bell, who survives with three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Richmond, Mrs. Billie Jean Combs, Miss Eleanor Louise Binkley, all of Hickory Point, and five sons, Emanuel Binkley, Jr., Detroit; Charles, Ralph and Randolph Binkley, all of Hickory Point, and Richard H. Binkley, with the U. S. Navy in Japan.

Mr. Binkley was a veteran of the First World War and all his sons and son-in-laws are war veterans or are in the services.
