Isaac V. Jordan, who resided 2 miles southeast of Dana, and who was well known to almost every man and woman in Helt Township, died near 4 o'clock on last Thursday, October 11, 1900, aged 56 years. He was born in 1844, and has been a resident of Helt Township all of his life. His funeral occurred at 2 o'clock last Friday afternoon from his late residence. Ike, as he was familiarly called, was a good citizen, and had many friends and no enemies. Everybody esteemed and respected the deceased.

Henry Jordan, of Liberty, IN, spent several days in Dana last week. He was called here on account of the death of his brother, Isaac.
