Died on the 6th instant, near Toronto, this county, Edward Jordan. He was one among the first settlers in this county. Mr. Jordan was the oldest of 23 children, of whom 19 are still living.

1. To my wife Christina Jordan, all my property both real and personal during her lifetime.
2. To my son Isaac V. Jordan, 80 acres, 40 acres, 40 acres after the death of my wife
3. After the death of my wife, the residue both real and personal shall be sold and divided equally among my sons - James Jordan, John V. Jordan, William H. Jordan, Henry Jordan, Samuel W. Jordan, Isaac V. Jordan, and my daughter Mary Bales.
4. I appoint my son Samuel V. Jordan Executor

1. To my son Samuel W. Jordan after the decease of my wife Christina Jordan, 98 acres.
