Lloyd Sherman Wood, son of Sherman A. and Mary L. Wood was born on a farm in Dayton township, May 21, 1898. The early part of his life was spent around Silverwood and Mayville until he went to Flint 30 years ago. He married Irma Miner of Flint and to this union a son, Robert, was born.
He passed away at Hurley Hospital Friday April 4th at the age of 48 years.
Besides his wife and son he leaves a grandson, David Lloyd, all of Flint; one brother, Don R. Wood; one nephew, Arthur L. Wood and a niece, Mrs. Harland Welke, all of Mayville. Several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friend.
Funeral services were held at the Grove and Company Funeral Home in Flint on Monday, April 7th at 1:30. Rev. LaVerne Finch officiating.
Mayville F. and A. M. had charge of the services. Burial was made in Sunset Hills cemetery, Flint.
