LOUIS LEOPOLD BOECHE
Louis Leopold Boeche, 77, died Friday, March 18, at Sioux City hospital, after a
long illness.
Mr. Boeche was born June 1, 1877 at Fulton, Ill. He came to Mapleton at the age of 10 and had resided here since that time.
He married Mary Uhl November 27, 1900 at Mapleton.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Leo of San Diego, Calif., and Leonard of Minneapolis, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Guy Kunkel of Mapleton, Mrs. Virgil Treiber
of Danbury, and Mrs. Andrew Schimmer of Danbury; 15 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister and three
brothers.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church at
Mapleton. Rev. A.H. Ocken officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under
directon of the, Byers-Walter funeral service.
Pallbearers were Leo I. Streck, Loyde Uhl, Nels Kafton, Edward Clark, Richard
Shattuck and John Christopherson.
