MRS. DON JONES
Funeral services for Mrs. don Jones, 64 years old, were held at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodists church Thursday afternoon. Rev. Edward Pruitt officiated Burial was in Mt.
Hope cemetery.
Hattie Clara Boeche was born January 4, 1866, and died in Sioux City August 26.
She had been failing in health for several years. On December 2, 1888, she was married to John Matthews. He was killed in the gas plant explosion here in 1903. On February 27, 1913, she was married to Don Jones of Battle Creek, Ia.
Surviving are her widower, one son, Alvin Mathews of Correctionville, one
daughter, Mrs. E. J. Blackford of Omaha, and four brothers, Louis, Arthur, Oscar, and Henry.
Children: Infant Son 1899-1899, Alvin R. 1892-1973, Augusta Elizabeth 1895-1956 (Mrs. Edward Jay Blackford) and Ruth Mathews 1903-??
