"Mherl Eyler Ahalt, 68, formerly of Brunswick, died today at the Monocacy Nursing Home in Frederick. He was born in Frederick County, a son of the late Harmon L. and Anna Mary Ahalt. He was a retired railroad carman, having worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for 44 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Baltimore and Ohio Veterans Brotherhood Lodge 125 and the Brunswick American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Ahalt; one son, HarmonJ. Ahalt of Knoxville, and one sister, Mrs. Ethel G. Porter of Rosemont. Friends may call at the Feete Funeral Home in Brunswick from 7 to 10 p.m. today. Services will be held from the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ralph Miller will officiate and interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown."

Miller, pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church of Brunswick, officiated. Full military honors were in charge of members of Steadman-Keenan Post 96, American Legion, of Brunswick. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery at Middletown."
