Mrs. Robie R. Peters, 84, of Woodland R.D., died Sunday, Sept. 21, at 8 a.m. in her home.
Born Aug. 19, 1896 in Morrisdale, she was the daughter of James and Sophia (Smeal) Rothrock.
She was a member of the Lake Street United Methodist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday school class.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. I. Lawrence (Hazel) Kerr, Vestal, N.Y., and Mrs. Boyd (Althea) Peters, Woodland R.D.; a sister, Mrs. Esther Maurer, Woodland; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lois Peters of Clearfield, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Burton L. Peters, in 1973, one son, Joseph J. Peters, four pothers and six sisters.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. Gay Ann Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends may call in the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of services on Tuesday.
