Mrs. Lois Clough Walker, age 94 of Douglas, passed away on Friday, May 14, 1993 at Coffee Regional Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on October 3, 1898, in Ware County, Georgia to the late Forrest True and Annie Bell Gaskin Clough.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was active in WMU, Sunday School Class, Sanctuary Choir and the Training Union, before her health failed. She was the widow of the late Owen O. Walker.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Harry Walker and James Clough Walkers; 3 daughters; Fannie Bell Smith, Charlotte Bacon, and Florene W. Carelock; 1 brother, F. L. Clough ; 2 sisters; Annie C. Meeks and Sara Bell Clough; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by sons; Emory Onslow Walker and O. T. Walker; 4 brothers: Daniel G. Clough, F Gilman Clough, Wilbur O. Clouogh and Omond T. Clough; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services ere held at 3 pm Sunday, May 16, 1993 at the First Baptist Church in Douglas with the interment in the Douglas City Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
