Mr. Clough was a Veteran of World War II. He was the Commander of the Local Disabled Veterans Chapter of Murphy, N. C. and was a member of the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Hayesville, N. C.

His wife: Era Tanner Clough.
Two daughters: Carol Ann O'Brian [both of Hayesville, N.C.] and Yvonnne Truax of Denver, Col.
Three Brothers: Dan Clough, Tilman Clough and Lamar Clough, all of Douglas.
Three sisters: Mrs. Lois Walker and Mrs annie Louise Meeks, both of Douglas and Sarah Bell Clough of Jacksonville, FL
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 16, 1963 at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Hayesville, N.C. with interment in the Douglas City Cemetery.
